Revierkunst connects the art scene in the Ruhr region with artists from all over Germany and stands for exchange – inspiration – discovery of talent – experiencing art differently – buying art directly – interesting dialogues and new perspectives. Ten days of Revierkunst power in the historic blower hall and in the catacombs of the former Henrichshütte steelworks.
To preserve this unique space for residencies and affordable studios in the future, we are organizing a special sales exhibition: MAKING THE FUTURE. Featuring work by artists associated with the Bierumer School over the past ten years. Each artist will donate a work worth €100.

Researching the anatomy of the human body has always triggered fascination and inspiration for artists. Within the theme of boundaries, Nieuwe Ruimte focuses on the social aspect of human behavior, and specifically explores the meaning and scope of opportunism. Fifty artists investigate how beliefs and principles can shift over time. Guided by conscience, norms and moral beliefs, we set boundaries. But what happens when those beliefs change?
Zeerijp, set inside a former church turned cultural venue, acclaimed artists Carlos Trilha (Brazil) and Viktor Haraszti(Netherlands) will deliver an immersive live performance that blends acoustic instruments, electronic sounds, and futuristic art.
In addition to the concert, visitors can enjoy an art exhibition featuring sculptures by Peter Schudde, inspired by science fiction aesthetics.

The Zainhammermühle in Eberswalde forms the robust backdrop for an extensive solo exhibition of the work of Peter Schudde. The more than 200-year-old watermill was saved from destruction by local artists in the late 1980s, today it is the stronghold of their association with more than 150 members.
